Have I mentioned that I hate summer?

Because I do.

After almost two weeks of laziness, I decided to go running yesterday. It was a seriously hot day, so I thought I'd be clever and wait until the sun started setting before I left. As it turns out, it didn't really matter; it was still stiflingly hot and humid. And I hate running in weather like that because it makes it so much harder to breathe. It's like trying to breathe pudding.

And taking showers in the morning has become virtually pointless - by the time I walk to work, I'm already sweating and in need of another shower. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't get my hair to do anything if I didn't wash in the morning (courtesy of my new short haircut), I might not even bother. (And before you get all "eew," I would still shower at night. I'm not that lazy. Not yet.)

And the house I live in is kind of old and the A/C is good, but not the best. So even with it and the ceiling fan in my room on, I can pretty much only stand to sleep with only a sheet over me. And I don't sleep well when it's warm and sticky outside. I like it when it's cold and you can snuggle under a mound of blankets.

... Good thing I'm moving to New York then, eh?
